Space&Co.’s 2014 first venue sits overlooking Melbourne’s esteemed business precinct. Linked by a hidden wooden staircase on the 10th floor, our space is spread over the 9th and 12th floor. Designed with space and privacy at the forefront, collaboratively inclined long work benches and laid back seating areas bond together a creative but secure environment.

Marking our debut into flexible workspaces, Melbourne Central Tower has been the blueprint for our on-going expansion across Melbourne and Sydney. It began in 2014 with a sweeping open plan workspace on Level 9 and a cafe on Level 10. In 2017, our very own Space&Co. residents, BVN Architects, lent their award-winning vision to our expansion over all of the 12th floor.

It’s resulted in a more dynamic work environment featuring bespoke workstations, meeting areas, boardrooms and collaborative spaces for cultivating ideas. Now, we’ve also got a purpose built kitchen with cooking facilities and a modern library with a cosy fireplace and skyline views.



Situated directly above Melbourne Central station and opposite tram routes that flow across the city, each end of Melbourne is reachable within minutes. You’ll be sitting within a variety of vibrant cafes, bars and high street shops – a pinnacle of convenience.



Our Melbourne Central Tower venue is all about the natural light, polished concrete and exposed industrial ceilings, softened with bespoke wooden surfaces and live greenery to optimise clarity, comfort and productivity. Here you’ll also find blush shades, modern tech and wooden work benches topped with cushions.



Our office is designed to help you connect with other businesses and collaborate with your team, but also to focus in our designated quiet spaces. If you wish to stretch your business contact list, you’ll be rubbing shoulders with property, tech and marketing experts within Melbourne’s esteemed business precinct.

Unlike most coworking companies, Space&Co. is part of a greater story that dates back more than 45 years. Led by The GPT Group, Australia’s oldest Real Estate Investment Trust, we’ve seen the workforce undergo significant change. Along with it, we’ve seen the needs of businesses change too.

In 2014, we launched Space&Co. to create premium workspace solutions for established businesses looking to work smarter. We began by transforming existing GPT Group properties into flexible offices – first came Melbourne Central Tower, soon followed by 530 Collins St in Melbourne and 580 George St in Sydney. After the success of the first 3 venues we not only expanded their size but consequently opened 8 Exhibition St, Melbourne and 2 Southbank Melbourne. We believe our success is due to our points of difference in the market, space, value and flexibility.

In the future, the story will continue as we expand existing offices and transform additional locations across Australia’s East Coast, offering more businesses greater freedom and flexibility.
