Space&Co. emerged in response to a professional workforce in search of greater flexibility – and that’s exactly what our business is built upon. Whether it’s updating and expanding our workspaces or looking for new and innovative ways to operate, as you grow, we evolve you.
Where we differ from traditional coworking spaces is in our mission to keep our offices bespoke and spacious (we’re certainly not in the business of crowding in extra workers for profit, nor are we in the business of hidden fees). Catering to companies of all sizes, from established corporates to small businesses, our flexible workspaces bring together an exclusive community of leaders from a vast range of industries. It’s the diversity, dynamism and commitment to success that bring our office spaces to life.
Since 2014, we’ve seen corporates and satellite offices hire our workspaces for project teams. We’ve also watched small businesses double in size. What we’ve seen, above all, is a shift in the way the working world runs – a world where businesses work smarter to achieve more sustainable results.
Because of it we’ve made ourselves a part of the change, and with plans to expand in the future, we’ll be giving more businesses across Australia the space to grow.
Unlike most coworking companies, Space&Co. is part of a greater story that dates back more than 45 years. Led by The GPT Group, Australia’s oldest Real Estate Investment Trust, we’ve seen the workforce undergo significant change. Along with it, we’ve seen the needs of businesses change too.
In 2014, we launched Space&Co. to create premium workspace solutions for established businesses looking to work smarter. We began by transforming existing GPT Group properties into flexible offices – first came Melbourne Central Tower, soon followed by 530 Collins St in Melbourne and 580 George St in Sydney. After the success of the first 3 venues we not only expanded their size but consequently opened 8 Exhibition St, Melbourne and 2 Southbank Melbourne. We believe our success is due to our points of difference in the market, space, value and flexibility.
In the future, the story will continue as we expand existing offices and transform additional locations across Australia’s East Coast, offering more businesses greater freedom and flexibility.
