The critical function was to devise and drive the strategic objectives of the business. Within this remit my role encompassed; leadership and management of the health, medical and injury prevention operations; driving new business and growing existing accounts; customer and account management; and health and wellbeing consultancy to assist organisations with development and execution of strategy.
At the heart of my role was to foster a culture within the business that espoused the organisation’s values and oversee the provision of services to the wider business community that successfully created happier, healthier and more resilient workforces.
My notable achievements included; reduced staff turnover and longer average tenure; positive employee engagement scores; year on year revenue and profit growth; successful state and national tender submissions; developing service offerings to provide stable recurring income streams; conceptualisation and implementation of new services in both psychological and physical domains incorporating digital innovation.

The role as an Exercise Physiologist was to prevent workers from being injured, however if they were injured, support them to recover back to work safely and productively.
Services delivered included; work-conditioning for musculo-skeletal conditions, manual handling training and risk assessments, workplace assessments, ergonomic assessment and training, job dictionaries, pre-employment medical and functional assessments, return-to-work consultancy, and health and well being assessment and consultancy.
The role also provided the opportunity to work with organisations to assist with developing strategy for health, wellbeing and claims prevention. One notable success was the implementation of an injury prevention initiative that led to zero manual handling injuries at a large construction site over the first 12 months of the build.

As a health coach I developed my coaching and educating skills. This role broadened my knowledge in special populations including diabetes, cardiac, and mental health. Behavioural change skills were developed to enhance the clients ability to make health improvements.
