My personal goal is to help organizations improve the employee experience and promote greater levels of performance by bringing the psychological theory and methods to the workplace.

Working with students as a Special Assistant Professor at Hofstra University, I help develop their analytical capabilities and understanding of organizational issues. I engage students with real world situations and data to help them see the value of the course material and to think practically. I rely on applied projects to provide the students learning opportunities beyond the textbook and classroom. We discuss their experiences with the projects as well as their work experiences, and look for areas to apply the course topics.

As a Senior Associate of Organizational Effectiveness, I was the primary HR employee survey designer, coordinator, and analyst for New York Life Insurance Company. Leading company-wide and smaller-scale employee research initiatives, I worked to generate greater value from the surveys through strategic design and a clearer framework for interpreting results. I also partnered with other organizational effectiveness tasks such as the performance management cycle and leader assessments, and was frequently involved in ad-hoc HR analytics projects.
