Also ensures the safety, availability & reliability of all BCRTC assets. As the key stakeholder oversees all Project works delivered on or about the railway infrastructure. The Infrastructure is currently 80 KMs, has 39 stations and 286 differing LRVs. During 2016, 28 new LRVs were Tested and Commissioned on to the railway, also a Railway extension opened with 6 new stations and 11.3 KMs of track.

Leading the team of multi skilled engineers within our rolling stock disciplines. Responsible for Engineering, Assurance, Reliability, Production and Projects. Also Heading a Projects team of 50+ staff delivering projects in all aspects of Railway disciplines.

Delivered 100% service availability during the London Olympic Games and +98% reliability across the fleet of vehicles. Through a multi disciplinary programme schedule, I was able to provide total confidence throughout the business that the Rolling Stock asset had the ability to cope and deliver the Olympic Games demands.

During my career, I have worked with , Bombardier in, Derby, Crewe, Bruges, Bautzen. Alstom in Wolverton, London. Ansaldo in Copenhagen from a rail vehicle prospective.

For over a quarter of a century, Rowe Hankins has been designing and manufacturing Speed Sensors, Non-intrusive Current Monitoring devices, Intelligent Wheel Flange Lubrication systems, AC and DC Earth Leakage Detection Units. Rowe Hankins also supply new build and refurbishing projects with on-train diagnostic and communication systems and power supply converters and inverters. In addition, we provide electro-mechanical and electronic products service facilities to maintain, overhaul and repair circuit breakers, contactors and on-train monitoring and recording (OTMR) systems. In addition, we have a dedicated circuit breaker tester, capable of testing up to 125 Amps and measuring trip times down to 1 millisecond.
